Winter has definitely hit Australia and with an increase in Winter Weddings it means Hens parties will also be held in the winter months. Does this mean you have to change your original plans to accommodate for the cold and chills produced by our winter weather.

Slumber Party - what better way to celebrate your last days as a single woman than to spend it at a weekend away with all your girlfriends.  You can have it at a house or why not get away for the weekend in a cabin with a fireplace so you can keep warm and cosy and toast the marshmallows!!!   All traditional hens games can still be played, music can be blasted and the best part is you will be warm!!

 

For those wanting to add on activities to their slumber weekend you can throw in a spa treatment, wine tasting, scones and tea, Cake baking and decorating and don’t forget you can still deck the house with hens party decorations and all the girls can take home a gift bag! The options are endless.

 

Snow Trip – There are sooo many of us who have still never touched snow so why not take a day trip to the mountains and have a 2 or 3 course lunch in the middle of the Alps.  For those a little adventurous why not get the Bride on a snowboard or go for a girls toboggan ride down the slopes.  Day trips are easy to organise and you can take chartered bus trips or use your own wheels.  Instead of building snowmen why not see who can make the best Bride out of snow or for those a little naughtier see who can mould the best pecker out of ice!

Pamper Party – There are many mobile beauticians who specialise in hens parties so why not get the girls at your house and have the pamper come to you.  They do make up, hair, nails, massages, facials, everything a girl could possibly dream of and the best part you don’t need to leave your house!
